INSERTING YOUR LENSES

• Make sure your hands are washed with a mild soap, rinsed thoroughly & dried with a lint-free towel before inserting your lenses.
• Remove the right eye's lens from the storage case. Clean & rinse lens with Solution.
• Place the lens on the tip of your right-hand index finger.
• Place the middle finger of the same hand close to your lower eyelashes & hold down the lower lid. Pull upper eyelid upwards with the middle finger of the left hand
• Look straight ahead & gently place the lens on your eye.
• Gently release the lid & blink. The lens will center itself automatically.
• Repeat procedure with the left eye's lens.
• Use a mirror if necessary.
• Check to be sure that the lens is centered by covering the other eye. If your vision is crisp & clear    then the lens is in place.

REMOVING YOUR LENSES

• Remove cosmetics, make-up only after you have removed the lens.
• Please ensure your hands are washed, rinsed & dried.
• Begin procedure with the right eye.
• Pull the lower lid down with the middle finger of your right hand.
• Look upward, slide lens to lower part of the eye with your forefinger.
• Gently pinch the lens between the thumb & forefinger and remove from the eye.
• Clean & rinse with Solution and put into the lens storage case before removing lens from the other eye.

HAVE A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR CONTACT LENS

• Avoid strong, oily soaps while washing your hands. Make sure you rinse and dry your hands before handling your lenses.
• Make sure your surroundings are smooth & clean. If you are using a basin/sink, make sure the plug is in to ensure that the lens does not get drained away.
• Always clean and disinfect lenses before re-insertion into the eye.
• Always use fresh solution from the bottle. Never re-use solution left in the lens storage case.
• Do not store or rinse lenses in tap water.
• Use only the lens case provided to store your lenses.
• Make sure the lens is fully immersed in the solution. Never use lenses unless fully hydrated (wet) in the solution.
• Always keep your lens case clean.
• Check before insertion that the lens is not turned inside-out.
• When inserting your lenses always start with the same eye to avoid confusion.
• The lens can never be lost in your eye. Use a well-lit mirror to help locate your lens, it will probably be on the inside of your eyelid.
• Do not re-center the lens on the cornea with your finger on the lens. Instead use your eyelid to    move and reposition the lens.
• Avoid touching lenses with your finger nails. Make sure your finger nails are short & smooth.
• If the lens is nicked or torn do not wear it.
• Avoid rubbing your eyes after you have inserted lenses. This can irritate the eye or dislodge the   lens.
• Do not allow lotions, soaps, creams, deodorants, hair sprays & cosmetics (especially metallic   powders) to comeinto contact with the lenses. They can cause an eye infection or irritation.
• Apply make-up only after inserting your lenses.

Note: Avoid eye make-up like eye liners as these can stain your lens.

Do not wear lenses overnight. Avoid wearing lenses around fumes, irritating vapours, smoky or dusty conditions. This may irritate your eye and/or damage the lens. Always wear swimming goggles while swimming with your lens on On holiday carry ample supply of lens care solution.  Make sure you have a spare pair of contact lenses. Visit your eye-care practitioner regularly for a routine check-up.
